I would say very personable people, very interactive company and a good neighborhood mechanic. I just gotta say that my significant other was charged a pretty hefty bill that we still paid because we were in a bad spot just to replace a battery. We feel like we’re going to shop elsewhere moving forward to avoid a $700 for a battery replacement

It's very rare that I feel strongly enough about a business to post a review, but Browncroft Garage is the exception. They were recommended to me when I first arrived in Rochester about 7 years ago and I've never looked back. Everyone at Browncroft I've interacted with in that time has been professional, trustworthy, friendly, and willing to discuss the specifics of what my car needed, why, and how soon. Prices are fair, scheduling should be done ~2 weeks in advance, and in my experience turnaround has been very fast (almost always same day unless parts need to be ordered).

Good honest repair shop. They worked on my Acura TL manual and fixed a clutch problem. They use an email / text system that keeps you completely updated as they work. I gotta a free rental and constant updates with pictures so you can see what they see. Top notch service. I'm one of those guys that really try and do my own work on cars, but clutch transmission issues have to be handed off. Glad I have found a shop I can trust in Browncroft!

THOROUGH check of problems mentioned and general coverage of the whole car. They keep little issues from becoming bigger (and more expensive!) issues. Lovely people, great service!

Today I took our 9-year-old car in for a NYS inspection. I paid the bill of $22 and was on my way. Were lucky to have Browncroft and feel that they are always trustworthy. Always friendly and professional too.

This is the only garage I ever want to go to. Scott and his team are extremely knowledgeable and honest. They are always willing to patiently talk me through repairs and give an easy to understand priority list when there are several big-ticket items that need to be done. I very much appreciate this place!
