I originally had my car's power steering leak inspected at another shop in Rochester. That shop quoted me over $700 for parts and labor to replace the pump and repair the leak. My car is rather old and I did not want to pay that much money for my car to get repaired, so I bought the power steering pump myself, replaced two hoses, and installed the pump with a friend. Unfortunately, the leak remained. It left me no choice but to get the leak fixed at a shop. I looked up Browncroft Garage and saw it was AAA certified, and they specialized in my car's brand. I had my car towed in the morning and they called me in the afternoon on the same day and explained what was going on with my car. I appreciated the amount of detail they told me over the phone on what needs to be replaced and why, as opposed to other shops that just tell you what needs to be done and how much it will cost. The mechanic even used one of the hoses that I did not get to install, and only ordered the parts that were needed. I had to wait a day until the ordered parts came in, but the repair was done in a timely fashion and I was quoted less than half of what the original shop quoted me. I definitely recommend this place for all of your repair needs.

When you need an honest opinion, great service, and value, Browncroft Garage is the place to go! The techs are highly skilled, up to date on their certifications, and are incredibly knowledgeable. They take the time to properly diagnose the issue and repair what’s needed; they don’t just swap parts like other shops and hope it corrects the problem. They’ve serviced several of my vehicles and I always leave knowing that I’m driving a safe and reliable vehicle. These guys are true craftsmen in a difficult field of work!
